01Who handles your information

Hired operates this website and is responsible for information submitted through its application form. For questions or requests about your information, use the privacy request form below. This notice covers this website; separate websites linked from it have their own policies.

02Information we collect

• Your first and last name, email address, telephone number, city or suburb and postcode, plus a social or professional profile link if you choose to provide one.
• Your answers about minimum age, work authorization and availability.
• Your resume, if you choose to upload one.
• Your contact preferences, submission time and application reference.
• Information you provide in a privacy request.

Do not include government identification numbers, bank details, medical information or other sensitive information in your application or resume. Short-lived technical information, such as an IP address, may be used to limit abusive requests. Hosting infrastructure may also keep security and access logs.

03How we use information

We use your application to assess your background and availability, respond to your application and communicate about recruitment. If you separately choose to hear about future opportunities, we may contact you about relevant roles. We also use information to respond to privacy requests and protect the website against abuse.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to take steps you request in connection with recruitment, on the basis of your consent for optional future contact, and for legitimate interests in secure operation and handling enquiries. We comply with applicable legal obligations.

04Who can access information

Applications, contact details, optional profile links, eligibility answers and uploaded resumes are sent through the Telegram Bot API to the recruiting team’s designated Telegram chat. Privacy requests are sent to the same team through Telegram. Telegram processes these messages and files under its own privacy policy. Only submit information you want to share for these purposes. Applications are available to authorized recruiting personnel. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process information to operate the website. We do not sell applicant information. If a role requires sharing your profile with an employer, we will discuss that recruitment step with you before sharing it. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

05Retention and security

This website removes its local application records and uploaded resumes after 180 days. This automatic cleanup does not remove messages or files already delivered to Telegram; the recruiting team must handle retention and deletion of those copies, including in response to your requests. You can request earlier deletion using the form below. Privacy request records are also removed after 180 days. Records separately required by applicable law must be handled under the relevant legal requirement.

Submitted records and resumes are stored outside the publicly accessible pages and restricted to authorized personnel. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Infrastructure locations and any required international transfer protections depend on the hosting provider used to operate the website.

06Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, withdraw optional future-contact consent, or ask how your information is used. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, or complain to your data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

07Cookies and external websites

The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. This website does not set visitor session cookies. External links, including Trustpilot, operate under their own notices. Fonts use your device’s available system fonts.

08Age and updates

The application form is intended for people aged 18 or older. If information from someone under 18 is submitted, contact us to request its removal. We may update this notice; the effective date appears above.
